FundingRound

Description

A round of financing raised by a brand: its type, announcement date, amount in USD and lead investors.

Rounds are ordered through the brand -> funding round relationship. rightRank 0 is the brand's newest round: dated rounds newest first, except that an undated round listed by the source after every dated round, at a stage not below any dated stage, ranks first. Other undated rounds follow, and secondary sales and tenders always rank last.

Data Sources

Crunchbase (via Bright Data). Crunchbase lists at most the ten newest rounds per company page, so a heavily funded company can have older rounds missing.

FundingRound.firstObservedDate ● String scalar

FundingRound.lastObservedDate ● String scalar

FundingRound.rank ● Int scalar

Determines the display order of the attribute, with lower values shown first

FundingRound.count.dataLayer ● DataLayer enum

The layer of records count(field: "records") counts on a search's own legal entities, persons and addresses and on the Record a search with entityType RECORD returns; UNGROUNDED on a legal entity, person or address below a search's own results is an error, and every other count ignores dataLayer. GROUNDED counts the records linked in the graph; UNGROUNDED counts gov-archive store records: on a legal entity, person or address, each record once whose asserted entity's value is wholly, case and separators aside, one of its names or its full address (ACME INC counts no record of ACME INC OF TEXAS), and on that Record, every record the store finds for the search. Without dataLayer, GROUNDED, but on the Record of an UNGROUNDED search the records of both, a record in both counted once. Null, with an error, where the records cannot all be counted, such as past 5 seconds or on a result with more than 20 values.
